Learning French as a Foreign Language
The CUFLE organises classes corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The Centre Universitaire de Français Langue Etrangère (CUFLE) is a department of the UFR FLLASH, at the University of La Rochelle which organises courses on French as a Foreign Language.
It welcomes foreign students wishing to learn or improve their level in French for various reasons: studying in their country or in France for example.
The CUFLE organises classes corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) – A2 to C1- at the end of which the students may be awarded a University diploma. The CUFLE also organises exam sessions for the Delf and Dalf.
Groups receive 200 hours of teaching per semester from September to December or January to May. Each group has a maximum of 20 students.
If your University has an exchange program with the University of La Rochelle, you are entitled to 90 hours of teaching per semester.
