It is a good way to perfect your skills for professional purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The course is intended for international students from non-French-speaking countries over the age of 18 who have at least the equivalent of a baccalaur\u00e9at (secondary school diploma) from their own country, as well as, in some cases, a &#8220;student&#8221; visa.<\/p>\n<h2>DUEF (Dipl\u00f4me Universitaire d\u2019Etudes Fran\u00e7aises)<\/h2>\n<p>La Rochelle Universit\u00e9 offers non-French speakers a University Diploma focused on learning French as well as acquiring knowledge about France, its history, culture etc.<\/p>\n<p>To take this course, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be a student or professional from a non-French speaking country over the age of 18<\/li>\n<li>Have obtained theequivalentof the French baccalaureate in your country (secondary school leaving certificate.<\/li>\n<li>A long-stay visa and residence permit: VLS-TS with the mention \u2018student\u2019. This visa is valid from 4 months up to 1 year.<\/li>\n<li>For longer studies, you must have a temporary student residence permit valid for one year or a multi-year student residence card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Registration for DUEF at La Rochelle Universit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>4 different levels are available, from A2 to C1.
