The studies successfully completed at the host university are awarded ECTS credits and, except in special cases, exchange students are exempt from tuition fees.<\/p>\n<h2>Agreements signed by La Rochelle Universit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Primarily focused on Asia-Pacific and the Americas, La Rochelle Universit\u00e9 has signed agreements with more than <strong>60 universities<\/strong> outside Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The countries with which exchanges are the most numerous are :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>China<\/li>\n<li>Korea<\/li>\n<li>Indonesia<\/li>\n<li>Brazil<\/li>\n<li>The United States<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Expanding International Agreements<\/h2>\n<p>Over the years, some of these partnerships have been strengthened and expanded on many levels. This is particularly true for the cooperation with <a href=\"http:\/\/english.blcu.edu.cn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beijing Language and Culture University<\/a> (China) which has resulted in a student exchange agreement, a dual degree at Bachelor&#8217;s and Master&#8217;s level, and the creation of a Confucius Institute in La Rochelle..<\/p>\n<h2>International Agreements for Research<\/h2>\n<p>Agreements with foreign institutions also facilitate research exchanges with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-larochelle.fr\/en\/research-and-innovation\/our-structures\/\">La Rochelle Universit\u00e9 laboratories<\/a>, sending trainees to work abroad, and hosting visiting professors through specific agreements.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the development of its international policy, La Rochelle Universit\u00e9 is a full member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auf.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie <\/a>and is a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ressources.campusfrance.org\/agence_cf\/forum\/fr\/forum_liste_fr.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forum Campus France.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>How can I apply ?<\/h2>\n<p>The list of possible destinations as an exchange student is on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-larochelle.fr\/en\/international\/studying-abroad\/going-abroad-as-an-exchange-student\/going-abroad-what-to-do\/\">the \u201cGoing abroad &#8211; What to do?\u201d<\/a> (how to apply for an exchange programme) page.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] What are international agreements ?
