INDIVIDUALISED MANAGEMENT AND PERSONALISATION OF LEARNING PATHS<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Thanks in particular to its <\/span>OpenCV project<\/span>, La Rochelle Universit\u00e9 offers a range of <\/span>courses<\/span> combining <\/span>majors and minors<\/span><\/a>, giving each student the opportunity to <\/span>enrich their studies and explore new disciplinary or career fields<\/span><\/b>, in addition to their main field of interest.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The aim is to diversify skills and enhance the adaptability of our students, to meet the demands of a flexible job market. To achieve this, the university relies in particular on the flexible nature of hybrid teaching. It offers <\/span>courses on demand<\/span>, adapted to students\u2019 profiles and projects. This training is combined with personalised support to ensure the success of an increasingly diverse student population.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The training offer also includes excellence and intensive pathways, combined with <\/span>active teaching methods<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BOOSTING ATTRACTIVENESS THROUGH SPECIALISED PATHWAYS<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”44866″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Thanks to the development of specialised courses, La Rochelle Universit\u00e9\u2019s <\/span>training offer<\/span><\/a> is also designed for <\/span>anyone wishing to <\/span><\/b>pursue lifelong learning<\/span><\/b>, particularly in subjects relating to smart urban coastal sustainability. As a result, the university provides training for public and private actors working in coastal areas, offering research-based expertise to help define public policies on these issues.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, through the <\/span>ExcelLR project<\/span><\/a>, we are planning to create a European doctoral school on smart urban coastal sustainability, which will be integrated into the <\/span>LUDI Institute<\/span> and will coordinate all the master\u2019s and doctoral programmes focusing on this subject.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Making higher education more accessible to everyone<\/h3>\n

In addition to the personalised pathways offered to students, the new model that La Rochelle Universit\u00e9 intends to create also capitalises on the potential of digital technology. As the 2021 winner of the PIA4 <\/span>call for projects for digital demonstrators for higher education (DemoEs)<\/span>, the institution plans to develop the <\/a><\/span>Smart CODE<\/span><\/a> project<\/a> over the next three years to <\/span>make the university accessible anywhere and at any time.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Classrooms will be transformed into \u201c<\/span>Smart Rooms<\/span>\u201d, enabling both face-to-face and online learning, while guaranteeing the quality of the learning experience. Courses, content and learning resources will be immediately and constantly available, regardless of where or when the learner is connected.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The approach will also be complemented by academic guidance for high school and university students who are considering their career options.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, the <\/span>President\u2019s office<\/span><\/a> has a <\/span>global vision and a strategy that links success and quality of life<\/span><\/b>. As part of this inclusive project, we support student involvement and promote cultural, sporting and linguistic activities. Two key facilities illustrate this ambition: the <\/span>Cultural Centre – Student Centre<\/span><\/a> and the many sports facilities of the <\/span>SUAPSE<\/span><\/a>.
