La Rochelle Universit\u00e9 is the winner of the call for expressions of interest (AMI) <\/span>\u201cDigital demonstrators in higher education<\/a>\u201d<\/span>, launched by the French government as part of the Investment for the Future Programme. The aim of the AMI is to identify institutions that are ready to implement a digital transformation strategy across all their training programmes. As the winner, the university has been awarded \u20ac5 million to develop its \u201cSmart CODE\u201d project.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

La Rochelle Universit\u00e9\u2019s project consists in implementing an <\/span>innovative \u201con-demand\u201d learning model<\/span><\/b>, based on <\/span>personalised learning pathways and content<\/span><\/b> on the one hand, and on <\/span>multimodality and hybridisation of teaching<\/span><\/b> on the other.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Personalised learning pathways<\/h2>\n

The aim is to design a tool for personalising training courses, using information from the learner\u2019s profile (such as previous studies and career goals), in order to suggest a tailored course in line with the learner\u2019s ambitions. By creating this pathway, the learner will then be directed towards the teaching units available in the university\u2019s range of courses, which will enable them to acquire the skills they need to achieve their objective. Learners will be able to draw on video testimonials from alumni, presenting in just a few minutes the links between their academic career at La Rochelle University and their current job.<\/p>\n

Personalised learning processes<\/h2>\n

The aim of this section is to generalise multimodality within La Rochelle Universit\u00e9<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s range of courses, by offering several <\/span>forms of <\/span>access for the same course (in-person or online learning, synchronous or asynchronous), in order to take into account the constraints that learners may experience (working while studying, living far from La Rochelle, etc.).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_cta h2=”” color=”black” add_icon=”top” i_icon_fontawesome=”far fa-id-card” i_color=”black” css=””]<\/p>\n
