EC Accompaniment to the Success of my Project (ARP)

Over the three years of the degree, students will be able to develop professional skills and reflect on their project.

THE GOAL OF ARP

The ARP EC is transversal and compulsory over the three years of the degree. It enables students to progressively develop pre-professional skills and to reflect on their project with a view to their future integration.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this course, students will be able to :

  • Identify and situate the professional fields potentially related to the achievements of their mention as well as the possible paths to access them
  • Characterise and enhance their identity, skills and professional project in the context of a search for an internship, job, etc.

IN 1ST YEAR BACHELOR’S DEGREE

Semester 1 – 12h (1h30 lectures – 7h30 tutorials – 3h accompanying work) 2 ECTS credits

At the end of this CE, students will be able to put in place a methodology to :

  • Facilitate their academic learning and identify related skills,
  • Develop their professional and/or further study project by identifying professional outlets and jobs related to the professional integration of graduates in their field.

IN THE 2ND YEAR OF THE BACHELOR’S DEGREE

Semester 3 – 9h (4h30 tutorials – 4h30 accompanying work) 1 ECTS credit

At the end of this CE, students will be able to :

  • Understand the job market in the sectors related to their field of study, in particular through the study of job offers and/or internships
  • Identify the skills acquired in their training and in relation to the expectations of employers
  • Create the basis of their professional network by registering on the University’s Carreer Center and by meeting professionals

3RD YEAR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE

Semester 5 – 9h (6h tutorials – 3h accompanying work) 1 ECTS credit

At the end of the ARP CE, students will be able to :

  • Identify their competences according to a context of research of internship for example,
  • Adapt their professional communication tools (CV, letter, social network profiles…) to their internship search, master application, etc.
  • Prepare for a recruitment interview
