Line 2: EDUCATIONAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH AN INNOVATIVE TRAINING SYSTEM BASED ON RESEARCH

As La Rochelle Université, EU-CONEXUS strongly believes in interdisciplinarity and excellence to foster the success of its students both at the university as when entering the workforce. Hence, the European University integrates the major/minor concept already used in La Rochelle. This concept gives the opportunity to the students to personalise their pathways enhancing their curiosity and giving them time to discover different possibilities in order to help them choose the studies which will most interest and motivate them.

With the will to support the success and integration of its students, and in line with the diversity of sandwich courses La Rochelle Université offers, EU-CONEXUS has co-created courses hand in hand with socioeconomic partners in order to train its students accordingly to the field’s needs.

Furthermore, because professional projects can arise aside of the studies pathways, La Rochelle Université integrated the CampusInnov initiative. CampusInnov offers “spaces and facilities allowing startups or laboratories to emerge, and for existing companies: resources to find new ways to innovate”. Similar devices and spaces are also put into place within EU-CONEXUS to support and guide students and/or researchers with their research, innovation or entrepreneurship projects…

Finally, as training and learning continue throughout one’s professional life, the European University, like La Rochelle Université, offers long life learning courses to professionals so they can deepen or diversify their skills.
